The vera.ai website has been launched

1 December 2022 saw the launch of the vera.ai website. Initially, we did a soft launch only, meaning we did not promote heavily that we were online 2.5 months into the project. The reason behind it: Deutsche Welle, in charge of the project website, decided for a number of reasons to move away from Wordpress and deploy a new Content Management System for our own site as well as project websites that we run.  Consequently, the vera.ai project team first wanted to be fully familiar with the system and its features before we moved it more ‘out into the open’. That day has now come!

Hence today, on 14 December 2022, we would like to tell the world that we are ‘digitally ready’ and now have a dedicated website where you can find all sorts of information about the project and related topics of interest.

Obviously, and as it is early days in the project, the material available is still limited in scale and scope. However, this will obviously grow over time.

Also, we are planning to make the vera.ai website a kind of ‘one stop shop’ for anything coming out of the project. This means that while we are also using other platforms on which we promote and distribute project work and results (as an example: vera.ai publications will also be shared on Zenodo), all materials will find their home here, on veraai.eu, be it presentations, publications, code, articles, audiovisuals and other material.

We hope you find it all useful and look forward to welcoming you on the site as a regular visitor. Stay tuned!
